Want to learn more about Gravity Forms? If so, this speaker definitely has a thing or two to teach you!
Introducing Abby Langner, a part-time freelance web developer and technical trainer. She specializes in custom front-end web development and one-on-one career training. She will be speaking over some of the basics of Gravity Forms and some more advanced features.
Time will also be spent going over a variety of forms (large business contact form, sweepstakes entry, multi-step, and more). These “cookbook” forms will be available as Gravity Form Export Files so you can modify and use them with ease.
We have more talent lined up, coming in from Kansas. Introducing Dave Navarro, Jr., who will be giving a presentation on Facebook Live!

For the past 3 years he has specialized in custom filter and plug-in development for the WordPress platform.

When we sat down with Steven for a beer in Benson, he was happy to meet us. After a couple of months of back and forth about the design of the 2017 logo, we were happy to see the project completed. This part of planning Wordcamp Omaha is arguably the most challenging part of the process. From finding and choosing a designer, to trying to bring a fresh and elegant design to the event – well let’s just say it’s harder than most realize.
Lucky for us, we found a very patient designer that was willing to go through 5 rounds of renditions for us before we settled on a final candidate. With that said, it didn’t come as a surprise to us when we found out that Steven actually used to be a tattoo artist (thus the patience). With this also comes a certain level of perseverance, as he is completely self-employed through his company, Buffalo Built Design Co., realizing his dream to make a living being a graphic artist.
Steven was attracted to Wordcamp Omaha through his wife who attended our 2016 Wordcamp. Connections like this are exactly what the Omaha WordPress community is all about! We are very happy to have added him to our network of local professionals. We encourage anyone in need of some top-notch and extremely professional graphic design to check out his work and company.
